As the first smile guests see and the last warm farewell they receive, Ruth ensures that every visit is welcoming, seamless, and enjoyable.

Known for her gentle, nurturing nature, Ruth listens more than she speaks — but when she does, her words carry the wisdom of a life lived fully. She has raised a family, managed a smallholding, run her own business, and pursued careers in sales, creative arts, design, and dressmaking. She has even written a novel, demonstrating her curiosity, creativity, and willingness to embrace new challenges. This rich tapestry of experience informs her work at Combers, allowing her to anticipate guest needs, offer thoughtful guidance, and create a reassuring atmosphere for everyone who walks through the door.
