New tighter regulations imposed on us, together with our commitment to the proffessional customer care you would expect from Combers Inside Out hair salon, we will require all guests having a colour appointment to receive a skin sensitivity test before we can proceed. We appreciate this may seem like an inconvenience especially as only 1.5% experience an allergic reaction, but we dont want it to be you. If you have a Colour appointment booked and you have not had an AAT (Alergy Alert Test) for 6 months, call 01823 334331 to arrange this quick and free test in the salon at least 48 hours before your appointment.

Following the lifting of the last two lockdowns many expected our prices to have increased, with social distancing rules limiting numbers of guest visits per day, and PPE requirements raising our costs. Although many businesses took this approach we decided to absorb these costs and measure the impact on each stylist both Independent and employed together with the business as a whole as we do each year. Since the first lockdown, 95% of our service prices have remained the same.
We know this was not replicated in all salons or service businesses and there is no doubt that Covid lockdowns have been financially tough for many people not just businesses. Combers Hair Professionals have served the Community of Somerset, Devon and Dorset since 1982 and feel a mutual support and commitment to each and every guest we serve and will never take you for granted or charge prices that we cannot fully justify, often to our own cost, such is our Inside- Out philosophy.
Because we have a keen interest in staying in business we have always raised our prices globally once a year in line with inflation and the impact of budgetary constraints. Therefore I am sure it won’t surprise you that after measuring last year’s impact together with general inflation we will be making a global increase in our service charges from April 2021. We very much look forward to returning to our salon and perhaps normal working practices later in the year, doing what we love, welcoming you back, and influencing the way you feel inside and out.

Our high level service protocol strictly follows Government saftey guidance and anticipate that from our reopening in April 2021 our current ‘We Care’ policy will remain in place until further notice.
It is important that you read our ‘We Care’ policy here. This will ensure you come to your appointment fully prepared for your safety and that of others, as without your help it may not be possible to fulfil your appointment.
