Hello! I'm Yaz Jones, and I'm delighted to have passed my exams and graduated as a Graduate Hair Professional at Combers Inside-Out in Taunton. I'm part of the Class of 2024, and I'm now continuing with the Combers 'Inside-Out' programme to become a fully fledged Inside-Out Hair Professional.

I have a passion for all things creative, especially makeup. For me, makeup isn't just about looking good. It's a way to express feelings, creativity and ideas. It's like painting on a living canvas, and I find it relaxing and therapeutic. I bring that same creativity to my hairdressing, and I see every guest as a new opportunity to create something special.

My love of hairdressing started very young. I used to cut my Barbie's hair, practise on my mum, and I even taught her how to do French plaits. I've always had a creative streak, whether it's sewing, baking, painting or making my own scrunchies, and hairdressing lets me bring all of those skills together.

My journey began in the Combers 14-16 Club, working alongside the team on Saturdays and learning hands-on after school. My favourite part of the job is still the before and after. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing the joy on someone's face after a fresh, new look.

Now welcoming guests as a Graduate Hair Professional

I'm now looking forward to welcoming new guests of my own. What I may lack in experience, I make up for in enthusiasm, care and attention.

I'm still growing, so I'm happiest working on cuts, colours and styles that suit my level. If you have a more complex hair concern, such as a major colour correction, one of our more experienced Hair Professionals will be glad to look after you. They will make sure you leave feeling fantastic.
