Always wanting my own business I started Combers in 1982 aged 20 in its present home of the Courtyard. Only one room on the first floor. What was once our own Salon is now home to our unique Colour Bar.
I love hairdressing, love hairdressers – in fact I love people. Just as well I hear you say! I find myself busy coaching and mentoring and of course working on the business, but my first love is hairdressing and sheer joy of making a small difference in someone’s day, by using skills that I am still honing. Will I retire? Never, as what I do is not a job, it’s my life
I specialise in difference making and sometimes the smallest change makes a world of difference.
